My name is Emily Guerrero and I am a multi-medium, multi-platform artist, with a specialization in graphic design and communication design. I graduated from the University of North Texas in 2023 with a Bachelors of Fine Art, concentration in Communication Design, as well as a minor in art history. I love developing complex visual concepts around identity and dialectical thinking through data visualization and cause-based design processes. I am passionate about the work in which I create as my work serves as an extension of my own personal lived-experiences, serving to rationalize, communicate, understandings of self by capturing the modes in which intersecting identities converge.

My design practice has always been a product of who I am, my lived experiences, and intersecting identities. Through my own personal lived experiences and intersecting identities I promote encouraging, safe creative spaces which serve to attract diverse, self-motivated, productive work environment. The reason design fulfills me is because I understand the social constraints of being a visual thinker as it relates to abstract thought in relation to the non-verbal and socialized aspects of communication.
